Available November 21st

Every December twenty-fifth, Rebeccah Rickman volunteers through her synagogue so that others can celebrate Christmas. Her usual mitzvah, or good deed, is assisting police officer Jeremy Kohler. But this year is different: this year, Becca is free to act on the attraction that has long simmered between her and the sexy cop.

Jeremy couldn’t have asked for a better gift than discovering the woman he’s fantasized about for five long years is single. But when he learns about the violence that broke up Becca’s marriage, he’s hesitant to pursue her. He fears his desires will scare her away—but can’t deny his own need for control in the bedroom. Or his longing to instruct her in the fine art of submission…

Becca is shocked to learn that Jeremy is a sexual dominant. And despite her past, she’s also aroused. But before she can explore what that means, she’s going to have to put her trust in Jeremy—and her own fledgling desires.

This a steamy little light BDSM novella.  Rebecca Rickman is a jewish girl who likes to help volunteer her time at Christmas helping out at the local police station. Five years ago she when she first volunteers she meets sexy cop Jeremy Kohler. Jeremy finds her sweet and sexy but very married. He knows she's hands off but he can't help his attraction to her so he requests her as his volunteer every year. This year is different though.  Becca is now divorced from what turns out is a verbally abusive husband. It took her a while to figure out her marriage was over. The verbal attacks where bad but when he finally strikes her she knows she's all done. Now here she is with Jeremy on patrol and once he finds out she's free he knows he wants her. Problem is he's not sure she can handle the sexual lifestyle he likes. Once they have a discussion about it though Jeremy takes his time slowly introducing her to the D/s type of relationship he enjoys. This is a fast sexy read that's not over the top BDSM. The relationship between the two is hesitant at first as each finally gets the chance to explore what they could have together in a potential relationship and in bed. The only thing i would've liked to see more of is the conflict with Rebecca's ex-husband when he tries to intimidate her at the end.  I thought it would be more confrontational.  Jodie Griffin does a awesome job as always balancing  sexy erotic and sweet story! 4 out  of 5 stars for Matzoh and Mistletoe by Jodie Griffin.

Forbidden Fires (Bondage & Breakfast #3) by Jodie Griffin

 photo forbidden_zps362318f4.jpg

Available April 1st!
A year ago, Detective Delia Robinson and Fire Marshal Colin Butler got up close and personal while working a case. But their sizzling relationship didn’t last. Now there’s a serial arsonist on the loose, and it’s up to Delia and Colin to bring him down—if they can resist their attraction long enough to concentrate on the investigation.

Delia quickly sees the connection between the crime scenes: elements of BDSM. Though she denies it, Colin is stunned by the realization that his former lover is aroused by the idea of bondage play. And suddenly he can’t stop fantasizing about being the one to bind her…

Unsure how Colin would react, Delia never revealed her desire to be dominated in the bedroom. But she’ll finally have the chance to find out when they go deep undercover—as a married couple at a B&B offering classes in domination and submission…

Forbidden Fires is part of the Bondage and Breakfast series but like the other books you can read it as a stand alone. I have enjoyed each book in the series and this one is right on par with the others if not hotter.  Delia and Colin had a short but sizzling hot affair about a year ago. It ended badly with hurt feeling and confusion on both sides. Neither forgot the other and when a serial arsonist threatens Colin draws Delia in to help again.   After looking at the clues and doing some investigating with Colin, Delia sees that BDSM is what connects all the fires and the deaths. They also find out that all the couples where the fires occured also attended a weekend retreat at Gabe's bed and breakfast where he teaches BDSM. If you have read the previous books you see a bit of Gabe in each book.  For me i love Gabe and can't wait for him to get his own book. Colin and Delia get more than they bargain for when they arrive at the BDSM and have to pretend to be a married couple and actually participate.  Makes for a interesting situation for both, plus you get a little of that sexy Gabe in there too. This is a hot, sexy read you can finish  in one interesting evening! 5 out of 5 stars for Forbidden Fires by Jodie Griffin. 5 out of 5 stars for Forbidden Fires by Jodie Griffin>

Book review: Forbidden Desires(Bondage and Breakfast series book 2) by Jodie Griffin

Available November 19th
When it comes to sex, Bella Massey wants a man who’ll get down on his knees and beg. And although she’s got the hots for firefighter Marcus Aiello, she can’t believe an alpha male like him could have a submissive bone in his body.

Marcus isn’t looking for a relationship, but Bella is not like any woman he’s ever met. When he discovers what the sexy librarian is really looking for in a man, he’s even more intrigued. But giving up control is difficult for Marcus—no matter how much he desires it.
Despite their intense attraction, Marcus and Bella’s budding relationship is at an impasse. Until a weekend at a unique B&B offering all manner of naughty nightly activities teaches them both just how good it can feel to lose control…
This ebook is 41,000 words. I don't know how much that translates into number of pages but i can tell you that you can read this in one evening. Sometimes that's just what you need. I did in fact read it in one evening. The first book in this series is Forbidden Fantasies and it's similar in size and some of the characters are in both. Nothing that means you have to read the first one to be able to read the second one. Both totally stand alones. I find it fun to see the characters from previous book to appear though. This has a mild BDSM theme. If you wanted to check out BDSM this is a good place to start to see how you feel about it or if you like light BDSM. Both Bella and Marcus are interested in what goes with BDSM but while there intestested they both struggle on how exactly to go about it. Who is the Dom and who is the Sub? Marcus is pretty much a alpha male but the thought of being tied up and on his knees for Bella thrills him and scares him to death. Both Bella and Marcus recently got out of bad relationships which also shaped their feels and caused trust issues. They keep going back and forth on whether they can make a relationship work. It takes something terrible happening in Marcus' life to bring them together finally and then he takes her away for the weekend to a bed and breakfast that specializes  naughty things to finally figure out they love each other. I like the B&B scenes the best. There is so much angst between them and tension i was so glad when they finally just let themselves go. A great second book for Jodie Griffin.  I am excited to see her continue to grow as she continues to write. 4 out of 5 Stars for Forbidden Desires.

Book review: Forbidden Fantasies by debut author Jodie Griffin

This review for ages 18 and over only please.

Photobucket

After fifteen years of marriage, Jessica Meyers’s sex life is, well, a little predictable. Her handsome husband turns her on, but missionary style once or twice a week? It just can’t compare to the hot new world she discovers in the pages of erotic romances. Her fantasies fuel the fire of her desire, adding a new spark to her and Alex’s lovemaking. But Jess is afraid to tell her husband what she really wants in bed–and her secrets start coming between them.

State trooper Alex Meyers is a master at uncovering the truth–except when it comes to his sweet, shy wife. She’s clearly keeping something from him. An affair? She wants out? When he finally confronts Jess, he’s shocked to learn she wants to turn her forbidden fantasies into nightly realities. But when he takes her to a unique B and B–Bondage and Breakfast–catering to couples and multiples, Alex is about to find out just how far he’ll go.

This is the debut book of brand new author Jodie Griffin. I found Jodie on twitter, my social media website of choice these days. I decided to check out her website and her back cover blurb for this book and decided i wanted to read her book. First of all you don't often read erotica type books where the couple are married. That's the first things that intrigued me and then there was the whole discussion of the erotica books the heroine is reading that gives her idea about her changing sex life. This is a short read but fabulously written. In a lot of ways i could see it happening in real life. There some really emotional stuff but you can feel the love between Alex and Jessica. Once Alex finds out what's really going on with his wife he makes her fantasies come true in a realistic way. There are these super hot sex scenes made hotter because it's a married couple ( by 15 years) and there's a bond there but also because they talk it out as they go. It's great!! 5 out of 5 Modokker Book stars for Forbidden Fantasies by Jodie Griffin. I didn't want it to end and read it one quick sitting.  Read more on Jodie Griffin's website here www.jodiegriffin.com
