TEN YEARS AGO ONE DEVASTATING NIGHT CHANGED EVERYTHING FOR AUSTIN, HUNTER AND ALEX. NOW THEY MUST EACH PLAY THEIR PART IN THE REVENGE AGAINST THE ONE MAN WHO RUINED IT ALL.

Austin Treffen was born into a world of privilege, but behind its gilded doors lies a corruption so sordid New York's elite would never believe it especially as his infamous philanthropic father is at its core! With everything he believed in shattered, how can Austin take down his father risking his family name and those he loves without any proof.

Until one earth-shattering night with Katy Michaels unlocks not only their deepest, most passionate desires but also the key to bringing Jason Treffen's reign to an end. But with an intense sexual attraction that combines a heady mix of exquisite pleasure and sublime pain, will they satiate their thirst for revenge and each other or lose themselves forever in the darkness?

I've got to start by saying this series is three books written by three different Harlequin authors plus a prequel. I have never read a series like that and i have not read books by any of the three authors writing this series. The covers and the blurbs drew my curiosity in so here we go.

The book starts off with the three guys these books will include at their yearly meeting to discuss what happened ten years ago. This time it's a bit different though when Austin tells them he received a letter through his pro bono law office anonymously. Not many know he's associated with it. Not long after that he meets Katy Michaels and discovers she wrote the letter. What follows is a tangled bit of need in both of them for different reasons. Each has demons only the other can help conquer. While the relationship between the two grows hotter and they grow closer together they work at figuring out just how guilty Austin's father is.  I read this book then went back and read the prequel when it came out June 1st and the start of this series is hot and gut wrenching at times. The events from 10 years ago when Sarah allegedly killed herself effects more than the three men who were once good friends with each other as well as Sarah. We start to find out that many other people were hurt as well. Just how many and how deep the hurt goes for these characters seems to be what we're going to be finding out and if they can make Jason Treffen pay for what he's done. Each book has a ending so no real cliffhanger for the couple in this book but to find out what happens to Jason you'll have to read all three. I think it will be worth it. Amazing sex scenes  laced with high emotions and the need to get revenge.  I for one are excited to see where the next book takes me.
