Available January 21st 2014
Subject: Navy SEAL Petty Officer Brody Lane

Current Status: On leave

Obstacle: The one girl who was off-limits…

Where navy SEAL "Bad Ass" Brody Lane goes, trouble follows. Being run out of his hometown years ago for misbehaving with Genna Reilly—the sheriff's daughter—was one thing. Now Brody is about to step into real danger. Not the suggestive letters he's been exchanging with Genna, but the kind of trouble that can send a soldier home injured and broken inside…

Genna's entire life has been orchestrated by her family. The right job. The right friends. Enough! Brody's return offers the promise of lust-filled pleasures. Of flesh teased and tasted. She's not expecting to find a soldier with distant eyes who has secluded himself from the world. But this good girl knows exactly how to bring a bad boy back to life….

Uniformly Hot! The Few. The Proud. The Sexy as Hell.

This is my first Tawny Weber book. The blurb lured me in i must say. Sucker for my military guys.  The book starts off with Genna being 18 and Brody a bit older than her and her brothers friend.  Genna likes Brody and his brooding quiet bad boy ways and she decides to try and seduce him on a dare. Brody tries to put her off for a bit but when he finally gives in they get caught before much happens buy her hard ass cop of a father. Brody being from what is called the wrong side of the tracks is confront by Genna's father and pretty much is made to enlist in the Navy.  Now he's a kick ass decorated Navy Seal in the prime of his life when a bad  mission injures him and his grandmother brings him home to recover.  In walks Genna again. This time she's older and more mature and trying to come to grips with what her life has become with her parents trying to always run her life still. This was a good book in a lot of ways. I liked how Genna has to coax Brody out of his brooding about his injuries and and he helps her out from under the thumb of her parents and be herself.  It's not a easy fight to finish as you would think. There's a lot of back and forth between the two and several realizations have to take place between both characters.  I loved both the growth of Brody and Genna throughout the book and the secondary characters were interesting too.  This can definitely be read in one afternoon which makes it a perfect cold day read. I wouldn't mind reading more from this author.
