For seven years, Halina Beloi has been in hiding. But she's never forgotten Mitch Foster, the long, lean man she had to leave behind. Until, that is, Mitch shows up with a list of questions and a 9mm in his hand.

All Mitch knows is that Halina broke his heart and disappeared. But new information has surfaced implicating her as a player in the deadliest game of Mitch's life. This time, he's not letting go without answers. Now terror, danger and heat will fuse them together or shatter the future. .

Ok i have to admit i have been waiting for Mitch.  He's been right there through the whole series but there was always something going on in the background that intrigued me. I've been waiting to find out what it was. He's such a smart guy with a smart mouth and you can't help but love him. He gets his butt handed to him and his world shook when he finds himself face to face with Halina Beloi. Mitch hasn't seen Halina in 7 years. He thought she loved him but she walked away and broke his heart. Since then he was going through the motions and dating women in a effort to get over her. It takes about 5 seconds to realize it didn't work once he sees her. Halina has some info that can help the team but she isn't sharing everything. She's been really protecting Mitch all those years ago by leaving but she can't let him know that.  Mitch and Halina have to really be honest with each other and fight to survive together. It takes everything they have to get to the point they might be safe.  If you haven't read this series yet do yourself a favor and start with book one. You'll thank me. Each book is better than the next. All the characters together are a family and as they add to the family you can see the bonding and camaraderie  develop. Heart wrenching, emotional and fun can easily describe this book and the series.
