Book four of Bondage & Breakfast

Bondage & Breakfast was a safe place for couples to explore BDSM—until an arsonist almost destroyed it. While the inn is closed for repairs, owner Gabe McConnell allows injured firefighter Olivia Watterson to stay and recover as a favor to a mutual friend. His attraction to her is unexpected and intense—but there's no way she's strong enough for the type of play he demands from a sub.

When she arrives at the inn, Liv is shocked—and intrigued. Her unanticipated obsession with the sexy, skilled Dom makes her all the more impatient with her slow recuperation. Even more frustrating is the way Gabe handles her like fragile glass, and she's determined to prove she's anything but by pushing her body to the limit.

Holding back should be easy for Gabe, but the more Liv challenges his limits, the more he craves her, body, mind and heart…

If you have been reading and following this series you probably have been impatiently waiting for Gabe's book. Well here it is! Gabe runs Bondage and Breakfast a bed and breakfast and in the last book it was burned pretty bad in a fire when crazy guy destroyed it.  While he works on fixing the place back up and deciding if he wants to reopen and run his BDSM classes anymore he takes in Olivia Watterson. Liv is a firefighter who was injured in the previous book and is just released from the hospital. Trying to get away from her meddling family she agrees to come and stay at Gabe's place. She's intrigued by Gabe and the things she sees and learns about his business but she's also recovering for a horrible back injury and has a plan to get back on track. She has time for a man right now.  Gabe has always been a man in control over the course of this series. Always sure of himself. Finally we get to see him no so sure of himself all the time. He messes up several times and has to eat a little crow.  Liv finds herself more and more interested in Gabe and the BDSM ways he likes but Gabe keeps handling her with kid gloves.  Both have issues they are dealing with besides their attraction and life choices at this very point in their lives. Several misunderstanding along with being unsure how to proceed from both characters leave you on a roller coaster of emotion as you wait to see if they can figure their way out of it all. One thing about Jodie Griffin books they are no wasted pages and the BDSM is not your typical stuff. It's has the feel of a more regular person  perspective than something totally out there. It's easier to put yourself in the story the way she writes it. This was the first thing that drew me to her writing and what Keeps me coming back. For a quick, fast and exciting read pick up this book. 5 out of 5 stars for Forbidden Obsessions by Jodie Griffin.
